What Actually Lasts
A lot of things feel important in the moment.
Deadlines.
Decisions.
Things that need your attention right now.
They pull at you.
They create urgency.
They make it feel like everything matters… all at once.
And for a while, it’s easy to believe that.
That if you don’t stay on top of everything,
something important will be missed.
But over time… something shifts.
You start to notice what stays.
And what doesn’t.
Most things fade.
The urgency.
The pressure.
The things that felt like they couldn’t wait.
They pass.
Not because they didn’t matter at all.
But because they were never meant to last.
And what’s left… is usually simpler.
Relationships that held up over time.
Moments that felt real when they happened.
Conversations that stayed longer than expected.
The things you didn’t have to force.
The things you didn’t have to chase.
They’re the ones that remain.
And maybe that’s the shift.
Not giving everything equal weight.
But recognizing
that most things are temporary…
And a few things are not.
